An email with new location code is being sent to assessees, who are getting migrated to new locations. Please update your email ID, if needed, to ensure receipt of the mail. An assessee can also check the location code through ACES website by clicking "Know Status of Assessee" tab and filling the registration number.

With effect from 1st October 2014, every assessee shall electronically pay the service tax payable by him, through internet banking vide notification 9/2014-ST dated 11.07.2014.
With effect from 1st October 2014, every assessee shall electronically pay the central excise duty, through internet banking vide notification 19/2014-CE (NT) dated 11.07.2014.
E-filing of Central Excise Returns (ER-1,2,3,4,5,6,7 & 8) and of Service Tax Returns (ST-3) is mandatory for all assessees w.e.f 01.10.2011.
Central Excise & Service Tax Assessees, who are yet to provide their e-mail IDs to the Department, are requested to provide the same to their jurisdictional officers to register with ACES. Visit 'HELP' section above, for detailed steps for registering with ACES by New Assesses & Existing Assessees (using TPIN mail) and the procedure to unblock the Account.
